THE MOST BORING FILMS EVER MADE

Purple created a series of hyper-longform, slow-watching videos of the most boring things ever — a man watching taupe paint dry dressed in all taupe for 59 minutes, a woman who can’t stop yawning brushing her hair for 51 minutes & a monotone man reading from a bird almanac for 46 minutes. The Most Boring Films launched & broadcast on Facebook LIVE — both shooting & airing between 12am-5am — while most people across the country should be sleeping. Purple successfully brought together the sleepless community through programming Facebook LIVE around people & bringing boring sleep-aids to late-night News Feeds around the country.
